This museum is envisioned as the "trailhead" to the Finger Lakes region. Visitors will jump-start their learning and discovery with a visit to the Finger Lakes Museum, and then add to it by exploring the many villages, parks, lakes, museums, and other attractions that dot the landscape.

Interactive exhibits and galleries will tell the stories of the diverse peoples who have shaped this 9,000-square-mile section of the Empire State and shed light on the fascinating animal species native to the region. Through education and action, Finger Lakes Museum will protect the region’s character, allure, and resources for future generations.
